Zander is our "cheesy grin" child; most photos of him involve eyes squeezed close or mouth wide open. This was a spur-of-the-moment shot over the side of a wall I captured while he was exploring. I somehow managed to catch his "real" smile: a beautiful, relaxed curve of the lips. This is the precious face I will remember when he's grown with children of his own.
